Download self-hosted remote support — Windows endpoints, Linux relay
One versioned package: the portal, relay, join page and browser Agent console for your Linux relay host (docs), plus the native Windows Client — a portable attended executable or the installed LocalSystem Access service on endpoints. Linux is the relay OS, not an endpoint OS. The Agent views and controls in the browser — not Meet/Zoom. Both halves are stamped with the same build so the wire protocol cannot drift between them. An unlicensed install runs as free Starter: 1 operator, 1 concurrent session, 3 enrolled Windows devices.

Access console starts with the side panel collapsed (Support stays open). Clipboard passthrough and file send/request fixes, with status UI on both sides and Explorer opening on received files.
What's in the package
The web half (relay/ portal/ join/ agent-web/ setup/) runs on your Linux relay host — Linux is not a shipping endpoint OS. The native/ folder holds the Windows endpoint binaries: the portable attended Client executable and the Access service installer. The Agent (technician) works in the browser console only — do not use any leftover native technician binary; it has no end-to-end encryption and is not supported. Access is Secure Desk's own pipe, not RDP/RDS. Endpoints dial out; the relay still needs ports 80/443.
Install in one command
Extract it and run sudo bash install.sh on Debian or Ubuntu. It installs Node.js, PostgreSQL and certbot, then prints a one-time setup token to the service log and hands the rest to a web wizard.
Upgrading?
Re-run the same installer. It re-syncs the code, re-applies the schema and restarts the service while preserving your database, generated secrets and configuration.
Then licence it
An unlicensed install runs as free Starter — 1 operator, 1 concurrent session, 3 enrolled Windows devices, self-hosted relay — not unlimited free SaaS. Get a free license, read your Node ID from Settings → License, and activate.
Windows clients update themselves
Once a device is enrolled, the installed service pulls new builds from your own relay — you only download this package for the server.
