You run the relay. Technicians land on your box. After pairing, the console and the Windows endpoint agree on their own keys. The relay cannot watch.
Concurrent techs vs a deployment price
ScreenConnect cloud and on-prem meter concurrent technicians. The public list for cloud One is about $30 per technician per month, billed annually. Secure Desk Team is $249 per year for the whole deployment — not per concurrent seat.
Backstage SYSTEM shell
Enrol a Windows endpoint once. Backstage opens a SYSTEM shell without inbound RDP and without taking the signed-in screen. Windows endpoints only. Secure Desk does not run the agents.
The relay you run
Both ends dial out over WSS. There is no vendor cloud in the path. Techs land on your box. You host the portal and the relay.
The relay cannot watch
The two endpoints run an ECDH exchange and derive AES-256-GCM keys. A 6-digit SAS catches a man-in-the-middle. The relay you run only forwards ciphertext.
